NPO secures speakers considered experts in their field, from across the country. Recent Educational Seminars included:

- Office documentation, Patient Medical Records.
- Collection “do’s” and “don’ts”.
- Managing accounts receivable.
Recent Open Forum Discussions included:
- How to successfully negotiate a payer contract.
- Patient referrals.
The education initiative fills a gap in the area of health education in Northern Michigan. The first seminar/vendor fair was a success from many standpoints. Attendee satisfaction was extremely high. Vendor satisfaction was also high. This initiative is exactly the type of benefit NPO members are seeking.
