Vendor Fair

Our previous Vendor Fair was held at the Traverse City Holiday Inn on April 21, 2004. Our next vendor fair is planned for Fall of 2005. We expect a high attendance and lots of enthusiasum based on the results of the Satisfaction Survey performed following the most recent Vendor Fair. The Vendor Fair is free to all NPO Physicians and Administrators. The morning session covered in great detail the HIPAA compliance rules and attendees earned 3 CME credits. The afternoon provided breakout sessions covering: Financial Accounting & Management Reports, Good Employee Bad Behavior and ER (Enthusiasm renewed). The event was received with great enthusiasm by NPO membership.

The vendor Fair presented booth space to local vendors. The format offered an excellent opportunity for NPO members to obtain information regarding our local vendors, the services they provide and based on the satisfaction survey results, was received with high praise.

The education initiative fills a gap in the area of health education in Northern Michigan. The first Seminar/Vendor Fair was a success from many standpoints. Attendee satisfaction was extremely high. Vendor satisfaction was also high. This initiative is exactly the type of benefit NPO members are seeking.
